"You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."
For some years the Ten Brinke group is closely involved with several projects in Africa and since 2011 also in Nepal. During these years, the Ten Brinke Group has set up its own foundation, namely the Ten Brinke Foundation.
The rationale of the Ten Brinke Foundation is to make investments to create labour, to enable the inhabitants of this country to build their own existence. And on the other hand, to help them build their self-esteem so that in the long run, they will be independent of third parties.
The projects are not only set up so that they cover the cost, but in a way that the surpluses lead to new ideas and initiatives that are in line with the earlier called rationale.
