History of
Ten Brinke

Many milestones have been set in the past 120 years. We are very proud of the steps we are taking and have summarised them for you in a timeline.

  • 1902

    Theodorus ten Brinke starts his own business.
    This is the beginning of ten Brinke.

  • 1950

    The 2nd generation enters:  Wiet ten Brinke Sr, Hendrik ten Brinke and Dorus ten Brinke

  • 1966

    The 3rd generation enters: The nephews Wiet ten Brinke junior and Hans ten Brinke. Shortly afterwards, they were followed by Arnold ten Brinke.

  • 1982

    The company moves to its current location in Varsseveld. In the following twenty years, the company experiences strong growth.

  • 1994

    With the entry of the namesake Albert ten Brinke, the project development activities are greatly expanded.

  • 2002

    Ten Brinke celebrates its 100th anniversary together with employees and business partners.

  • 2005

    Ten Brinke Desarrollos is founded in Spain.

  • 2008

    In this year, Ten Brinke Hellas is founded in Greece.

  • 2011

    Establishment of the
    Ten Brinke Foundation under the motto "Helping people to help themselves".

  • 2017

    Ten Brinke celebrated
    115 years of building together with
    their employees and their families.

  • 2019

    Milestone:
    The 1000th employee starts and the first project in Portugal has begun!
