Ten Brinke builds headquarter for Volkswagen company in Bochum
Our Managing Director Albert Ten Brinke signed the contract for the construction of the new headquarter of VW Infotainment GmbH in Bochum on October 6, 2021. The company is a 100% subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group and has been active on the market since 2014. With more than 700 employees, the company works on future technologies and networks for vehicles: "the car of tomorrow as a smartphone on four wheels," as they describe it themselves. Seven years ago, VW took over Blackberry's European development center for its headquarters in Bochum. We from Ten Brinke are taking over the planning and implementation for this new headquarter and will thus be responsible for the project as investor and as builder. Start of construction is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
